Ross Rentea has been a practicing Family Physician in
Chicago for over 30 years.

He specializes in treating both chronic and acute illnesses in an integrative manner with emphasis on using anthroposophic remedies, supplements, and other disease specific topical ointments.
The Paulina Medical Clinic ( that he and his wife, Andrea Rentea MD, opened in Chicago, in 1983, enjoys an international reputation. Patients are traveling in from all the 50 states and from overseas to consult on their health problems. The clinic offers comprehensive medical evaluations, a variety of IV modalities including chelation therapy, IV mistletoe and treatment with bio identical hormones, advanced nutritional testing and nutritional advice, life style coaching, and therapeutic eurythmy – a new movement therapy.
Ross graduated from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine (1976), and after his residency in NYC spent five years in Europe studying anthroposophic/complementary medicine especially the mistletoe applications in cancer treatment.

He is a member of the American College of Advancement in Medicine (ACAM); a Board member of the American College for Anthroposophic Medicine; a co-founder of the Illinois Homeopathic Medical Association and a member of the Anthroposophical Society. His additional activities include hundreds of lectures, training seminars and workshops to professional and lay groups. Dr. Rentea holds a patent for a medical device. He has been an editor of the Journal for Anthroposophic Medicine, and has published articles in peer reviewed medical journals (among others published research results on the effects of mistletoe –Viscum album-.on the immune system) He is the principal author of a recently published book on childhood illnesses and immunizations.

Following a long standing interest in researching ways for creating new pharmaceutical quality natural remedies he co-founded the True Botanica Company ( and is its CEO, CSO and Chairman of the Board. The company goal is to create the most safe and effective full spectrum products possible that work harmoniously on body, mind and spirit. The formulas are designed by uniting the best in emerging modern nutritional technology with insights given by the scientist Rudolf Steiner, as well as by paying attention to today’s patient needs.
He is also Co-founder and President of the Lili Kolisko Institute (, a non-profit 501(c)3 institution for education, research and social help in the integrative health care field. One of the main ongoing current research projects centers on developing objective ways to assess the efficacy of ultra- high diluted substances.
