Dear colleague,

Most physicians understand the importance of documenting services effectively; still they end up missing out important things that should be documented. Clinical Documentation Improvement has become crucial for reimbursements, especially since physicians are increasingly undergoing pre- and post-payment audits and increased third-párty scrutiny.

Even though you have been getting paid for your services, it does not mean that the payment will continue, unless your documentation supports the services you provided. You need to understand that your payment could be affected by the lack of specificity. However, getting to know about the correlation between clinical documentation, quality of care, and physician reimbursement can be a challenge.

Join this On-Demand Webinar—“CMS Guidelines for Physician Documentation” with expert speaker Melody S. Irvine on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, where she will assist you in analyzing documentation for the biggest issues affecting physician reimbursement. Melody will assist you in identifying common errors in the medical récord documentation by reviewing examples of actual documentation.

You'll get 1 AAPC CEU per registration.
