PRE-CONFERNCE WORKSHOP:  Addressing Airway-Centered Disorders: Review of Interdisciplinary Pediatric & Adult Cases
 Thursday, October 17: 8:30am-12:00pm
   Workshop Description
Join us for a series of pediatric and adult clinical case reviews that utilizes an evidence-based and Human Systems approach to both assessment and clinical outcomes.  This workshop is intended for the many healthcare providers in medicine, dentistry and allied health that can contribute to the complex nature of breathing and sleep disorders. Case presentations by members of the Airway Collaborative - a national interdisciplinary study club - will be the focus of the discussion along with audience participation. A review of assessment and treatment algorithms by group moderators, Mark Cruz, DDS and Barry Raphael, DMD, will be part of the presentation. We'll also talk about the work going on with the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontists, and the medical community at large that will move the airway agenda forward.
