PRE-CONFERNCE WORKSHOP: Advanced Technology for Dental Airway Medicine

   Workshop Description  
  Rapidly changing advances in technology offers Airway Centric™ dentists to offer more optimal care with greater less effort. This workshop will include information on the utilization of CBCTs, 3D Scanners, Physiological Monitoring, Heart Rate Variability as well as the expanded use of oral appliances.

Mark Murphy, DDS
Mark T. Murphy, DDS, FAGD is the Principal of Funktional Consulting and Lead Faculty for Clinical Education at ProSomnus Sleep Technologies. He also serves on the Adjunct Faculty at the University of Detroit Mercy and oversees the Practice and Financial Management Curriculum at the Pankey Institute. He lectures internationally on Leadership, Practice Management, Communication, Case Acceptance, Planning, Occlusion, TMD and Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Michael Gelb, DDS
Dr. Michael Gelb, DDS is a Co-Founder of the AAPMD and CEO of the Gelb Center, a world-wide resource for integrative dentistry. He is Clinical Professor and former director of the NYU TMD and Orofacial Pain Program, Diplomate of the American Board of Orofacial Pain and Co-Developer of the AirwayCentric@ system, a provider of education, training and instrumentation for the comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of airway issues. Dr. Gelb received his D.D.S. degree from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1982 and his M.S. degree from SUNY at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He has 3 patents pending for sleep and pain management. 
Jeff Hindin, DDS
Jeffrey Hindin, DDS is in private practices with an emphasis on the treatment of craniofacial pain, TMD and sleep disorders. He is conducting clinical research into the relationship between orofacial pain, splint therapy, physiological function and heart rate variability. He lectures internationally and is an instructor in software development for the Biofeedback Foundation of Europe and is the co-founder of TAD systems.
John Kelly, DDS
John J. Kelly, DDS is a Chicago dentist and dental sleep expert offering the most advanced therapy for sleep breathing disorders from sleep apnea treatments to snoring therapy.
Currently Dr. Kelly is on faculty at the NYU School of Dentistry dental sleep medicine program. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois and has taken over 1,000 hours of continuing education, including extensive coursework at the internationally recognized Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies.
An international speaker, Dr. Kelly has lectured and coached other dentists throughout his community. Today Dr. Kelly diagnoses and treats his patients based on the highest ideals of dentistry—the way he would treat his own family.
