When is silver more valuable than gold?
When it is saving your life.

A can't miss event, join Garry F. Gordon, MD, DO, MD(H) for an exclusive 90 minute sunrise session this Nov. 23 at ACAM 2013, in Palm Spring, Calif. Please join your colleagues in the Oasis 5 & 6 at 6 a.m.

According to the CDC, "Antimicrobial resistance is one of our most serious health threats. More than 2 million people are sickened every year in the U.S. with antibiotic-resistant infections, with at least 23,000 dying as a result. These estimates are based on conservative assumptions and are likely minimum estimates." Dr. Tom Frieden, MD, MPH Director, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

New strains of superbugs, overuse of antibiotics, increased prevalence of toxicity and immunodeficiency are creating a more dangerous environment than ever for both the practitioner and patient, with more patients than ever now seeking integrative treatments. Discover just how easily you can treat these serious health concerns.

Improve your patient outcomes with the latest advancements in immune system treatments while learning to protect your own health, your patient's health and your practice as deadly, contagious microbes and associated infections become the new norm.

ACAM will be hosted Nov. 20-24 at the Westin Mission Hills Rancho Mirage in Palm Springs, Calif.

You don't need to be a perfect vegan to be healthy
By Ron Hoffman, MD

Recently we settled on Greek, and met at a nice restaurant in Midtown. I ordered the whole fish and a big Greek salad with fresh olive oil. He scanned the menu skeptically, uttered a sigh, and issued precise instructions to the waiter:
