ACAM addresses the Flint, MI Healthcare Crisis and Resources Available
As the committee prepared for their first call in January the Flint, MI lead crisis hit international news and required ACAM to take a stance. The Chelation Committee scheduled an emergency conference call and within 48 hours drafted a press release and gained the Executive Committee’s support to get information to the public, including commissioning large newswire services.

The volume of calls into ACAM’s headquarters included a significant amount of medical professionals in the MI area looking for chelation expertise. This resulted in a candid recorded Q&A session with key ACAM leadership as well as several Michigan area doctors with questions regarding training and resources. This need for assistance has resulted in ACAM scheduling not only the practicum and certification for training but also elements of the Advanced Chelation training. This full package - the Chelation Advanced Provider - is now available in an expedient manner for professionals looking for patient treatment options.
ADVANCED CHELATION WORKSHOP & CERTIFICATION: APRIL 17-18, 2016 | Chicago, IL
With a prerequisite of the ACAM Basic Chelation webinar course, this two-day Advanced Chelation Workshop & Certification offers everything a practitioner needs to offer chelation in their office. The basic chelation webinar series offers professionals the ability to study on their own time and grasp the essential elements of chelation. The practicum and resulting certification is important to complete the training by putting the theories into hands on practice. This spring workshop will provide in-depth training at the necessary hands-on level by combining the information presented in the webinar with a full course of new material. Completion of this course results in ACAM’s exclusive and nationally recognized Chelation Certification (CCT).
ADVANCED CHELATION WORKSHOP & CERTIFICATION: September 14-15, 2016 |Tucson, AZ
If unable to take the April course, there will be an additional opportunity to take the Advanced Chelation Workshop as a two-day preconference workshop, during ACAM’s 2016 Annual Meeting. Instruction conclude with the practicum and certification immediately following the meeting’s close on September 18. The ACAM Basic Chelation webinar course is a prerequisite for this workshop. ACAM is joining forces with the American Academy of Physiological Medicine & Dentistry for the 2016 Annual Meeting, creating new collaborative treatment options worldwide! In conjunction with our experts, AAPMD, our preferred partners, and ACAM’s commitment to educating professionals, we’re hoping to help patients, improve public knowledge on the value of chelation and provide real help in this ongoing health crisis that is not limited to Flint, MI.
