DIRECT QUOTES OF SUPPORT FOR ACAM'S CHELATION PROTOCOL

NEBRASKA: After an extensive review of available research, literature, and expert testimony, the Chleation Therapy Techncial Review Committee has found that Chelation Therapy is probably safe if standard protocols (The American College for Advancement in Medicine, for example) are used in the infusion of ethylenediamineteraacetic acid ("EDTA"). The technical committee cannot determine at this time whether or not chelation is an effective therapy for anything other than the removal of heavy metals, and consequently, recommends that there be no new legislation enacted with regard to this issue.  Report of Recommendations and Findings on Chelation Therapy - October 21, 1999 - The Nebraska State Board of Health

STATE-BY-STATE ARTICLES/REFERENCES REGARDING CHELATION THERAPY
ACAM recommends contacting your state's medical board to assure chelation therapy is recognized in your area. The Alliance for Natural Health has published Know Your State Medical Board as a reference resource for your use.

The below articles and documents are references available online ACAM was able to find for each state's view on chelation therapy. These documents are for reference only and should not be considered a definitive answer to whether chelation is recognized within your given state. If you have found additional information regarding your state's stance on chelation therapy, please share it with ACAM by emailing info@acam.org.
